As a service engineer at Supermicro, you play a key role in delivering expert support for advanced server and IT solutions. Your daily tasks 

You will be responsible for handling advanced service cases and supporting enterprise customers. You will: 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues remotely and onsite 
  • Diagnose root causes of hardware and system failures 
  • Manage service tickets and ensure SLA targets are met 
  • Collaborate with internal teams and create technical documentation (SOPs, knowledge base) 
  • Perform testing, simulations, and preventive maintenance activities 
  • Support deployments, train colleagues, and improve service processes 

 

 

 

 

Your working schedule 

You will typically work Monday to Friday on day shifts, from 9:00 to 17:30. The role involves a combination of office based work and travel to customer sites as required. 

 

 

 

What you need to bring 

You are an experienced professional who enjoys solving complex technical problems and working with customers. You have: 

  • Experience in a similar service or engineering role 
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills 
  • Business-level English communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership 
  • A valid driving license 
  • Physical readiness for hands-on tasks
