As a trailer mechanic at TIP Trailer, you will work for a leading European supplier of trailers. TIP Trailer is an expert in providing all the services a customer needs throughout the lifespan of a trailer, acting as a one-stop-shop for fleet management. You will be part of a team responsible for resolving complex faults in trailers and semi-trailers, ensuring efficient repair and maintenance to enhance workshop productivity. We ensure you have everything you need to succeed from day one. 

 

 

Your daily tasks 

You take responsibility for maintaining trailers and semi-trailers to ensure they are in top condition for our customers. You will: 

  • Perform welding, brake overhauls, and alignment work 
  • Handle air system work, trailer lighting, and APK inspections 
  • Execute work orders, construct parts, and perform equipment maintenance 
  • Assist colleagues and maintain clear communication with customers 

 

 

Your working schedule 

You'll work four days a week, ten hours a day, and you'll have the option of working overtime or simply enjoying a long weekend. 

 

 

What you need to bring 

You enjoy being active and working in a technical, professional setting. You have: 

  • Intermediate vocational education level 
  • Good technical knowledge and skills in trailer repairs and maintenance 
  • A customer-service and quality-oriented mindset 
  • A category B driving license to travel to your workplace 
  • Specific knowledge (or willingness to learn) regarding APK, EBS (Haldex, Wabco, Knorr), LPK (Zepro, installation, and hydraulic installation)
