You receive an all-in gross hourly wage of €28,35. This amount consists of your base salary of €25,00 per hour, supplemented with ADV allowance, holiday allowance, and profit sharing. Depending on your duties, you may also receive additional allowances, such as shift allowance or cold allowance, which can further increase your final hourly wage.
 
 
As an Fitter/TIG welder at Tanis, you play a key role in bringing high-tech production lines to life for the gummy and jelly confectionery market. Tanis was born from generations of hands-on expertise in the confectionery industry, and has grown into a specialist in complete, high-quality production lines built specifically for gummy and jelly manufacturers. Today, Tanis machines run at client sites across Europe, combining precision engineering with real production know-how. We'll help you master the technical skills to weld and assemble these machines with confidence, and build a strong career in a specialized, growing industry. 
 
 
 

Your daily tasks 

 
You'll perform welding and assembly work on stainless steel skids that together form an industrial kitchen for candy production. You will: 
 
 
  • Work independently on material assembly, final welding, drilling, sawing, grinding and polishing the finished product 
  • TIG weld stainless steel, primarily pipe welding but also other stainless steel materials, delivering neat weld seams with full penetration 
  • Read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings 
  • Retrofit finished elements with components such as motors and belts 
  • Handle custom work: frequent adjustment, measuring, problem-solving and applying creative solutions 
  • Split your time roughly 50% welding and 50% assembly 
 
 
 

Your working schedule 

 
You'll work from 07:00 to 16:00. During busy periods, you could be working up to 50 hours a week, around 10 hours a day. 
 
 
 

What you need to bring 

 
You're technically minded, independent, and enjoy hands-on work. You have: 
 
  • Experience as a TIG welder and assembler, preferably in a similar industry or type of work (certification not required) 
  • The ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D technical drawings 
  • Good communication skills in English or Dutch 
  • A category B driving license to get to work every day
