As an international market leader in workforce solutions, we are constantly evolving. Therefore, we are looking for a Risk & Compliance Lead who will play a key role in building a controlled, efficient, and future-proof organization.

What will you do?

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the organization's risk and compliance framework.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessments and advise senior management on strategic, operational, and compliance-related risks.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure effective follow-up of audit findings.
  • Manage, monitor, and report on the J-SOX Risk & Control Framework.
  • Develop and maintain key controls and assess the effectiveness of internal control measures.
  • Drive the further development of ESG governance, data collection, and reporting, including CSRD-related requirements.
  • Support the development, implementation, and compliance of GDPR policies and privacy controls throughout the organization.
  • Optimize and standardize business processes while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop management reports and dashboards related to risk, compliance, audits, ESG, and privacy.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and sparring partner for management and stakeholders across different countries and business units.

Who are you and what do you bring?

  • A Master's degree level of thinking and working, preferably in Business Economics, Accountancy, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in Risk Management, Internal Control, Audit, and/or Compliance.
  • Experience with J-SOX, ESG/CSRD, and GDPR.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex information into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • A confident professional who can easily switch between strategic discussions and operational execution.
  • Proactive, independent, and results-oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders and lead change initiatives.
  • Comfortable working in an international and dynamic environment where ownership, collaboration, and entrepreneurship are highly valued.
  • Strong command of both Dutch and English, written and spoken.

What do we offer?

At OTTO, we combine the strength of an international organization with the informal culture of a family-owned business. You will have the opportunity to take initiative, make a tangible impact, and further develop yourself in an international environment. In addition, we offer:
