As an Albert Heijn Online order picker, you play an essential role in preparing grocery orders for customers across the Netherlands. You move through a modern warehouse, guided by a hand scanner or voice system that leads you to each product. From fresh vegetables and dairy to long‑lasting staples, you ensure every order is complete, accurate, and ready on time.  
 
 
 
You work in a friendly, active team where every shift keeps your moving. Your daily tasks  

You collect and prepare supermarket orders for Albert Heijn Online. You will:  
 
  • Pick products with a hand scanner or voice picking system  
  • Check that you pick the right product, amount and quality  
  • Pack orders so they are ready for transport to customers  
  • Lift and move boxes and crates with different weights  
  • Work in areas with different temperatures, warm and cold  
  • Keep your workplace safe, clean and orderly 
 
 

Your working schedule  

The minimum number of working hours usually ranges from 16 to 24 hours per week, depending on operational needs and employee availability. 
 
 
 

What you need to bring  

 
You are motivated and you like active work. You have:  
 
  • Willingness to follow rules, safety and work instructions  
  • Openness to working in different shifts and different departments  
  • Good physical condition for walking and lifting during your shift  
  • Comfort working in different temperatures, warm areas and cold rooms  
  • Communication skills in English, Dutch or Polish  
  • A positive attitude and respect for colleagues and customers
