What is OTTO?
OTTO Work Force is the largest international employment agency in Europe. Through our 30 offices in the Netherlands, the UK and Central and Eastern Europe, we deploy our employees to the Netherlands, the UK, Poland and the Czech Republic. In the Netherlands alone, around 3000 people work for OTTO every day. On an annual basis, this adds up to more than 10,000 people.
OTTO Work Force is particularly well known for its extensive recruiting and selection method, the good support of its employees, correct payment, transport to and from work, supervision on the work floor, good accommodation and social support.
History
In 2000, our company was set up by three men (one of whom was called Otto), who noticed that, for historic reasons, there were Polish citizens with German passports. Poland was not an EU member state at that point, but thanks to their German passports, these Polish citizens were welcome on the Dutch labour market.
What started as a miniscule niche in the borders and the market soon became a daily influx of migrant workers from Central and Eastern Europe. OTTO became market leader and, above all, trendsetter. Many regard the way in which our employees are selected, accommodated and treated as an example for the correct approach.
Organisation
The CEO of OTTO Work Force is our major shareholder Frank van Gool. In Venray (NL), he heads up a compact main office, where just under 150 people of different nationalities work. In Poland, OTTO has an extensive office network throughout the country and it also has offices in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria and the UK. In the Netherlands, the employees are accommodated in 22 more or less large-scale locations. On the work floor, OTTO employees are intensively supported by our staff.
